Applied Cybersecurity prepares students for employment and/or specialized training in cybersecurity-related careers. This program of study focuses on broad, transferable skills and stresses understanding and application of computer and network security concepts. Students will learn about security vulnerabilities, attack mechanisms and techniques, intrusion detection and prevention, cryptographic systems, system hardening, risk identification, and incidence response technologies.
