Students receive theory that will provide an in depth understanding of the beauty industry, as well as an extensive hands-on experience including business building, haircutting, coloring, hairstyling, hair texture services, nail services, as well as facials and facial make-up application. Students complete with the knowledge to enter the cosmetology industry with skills and confidence. The student will learn how to work in a professional environment, be professional, and grow with an ever changing industry. Cosmetology is a great profession as there will always be a need for hairdressers, regardless of where you live. Okaloosa Technical College prepares students to apply for the Florida State exam and Licensing.
