Exciting Career Fields: Commercial Electrician, Electrical Contractor, Residential Electrician
Our Electrician program combines a hands-on practical learning environment, along with classroom training in order to prepare students for everything from specialty trade contractors to communications companies. Today’s electricians can work for a variety of employers including residential contractors and commercial builders. The program covers use of tools, Ohm’s Law, blueprint reading, NEC (National electric Code), DC and AC circuits, basic safety, construction site etiquette, conduit bending, residential and light commercial “rough in/trim out” of wiring. This program is specifically designed to provide our students with the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to keep pace with the demands of both our State and local community.
